[T3] Idle adjustment

<x-rich>My 72' Squareback (fuel injected) idles at 600 RPM and refuses setting
of recommended for automatics 1000 RPM idle. I am turning the
adjustment screw on the air distribution box with warmed up engine not
responding. Experts - listees, what is the problem?

This shall be the first step in engine tuning, so I am stuck. Thanks
in advance.

They have a

good chance of pulling air into the cylinders. Like you say, gravity
bleeding

actually works pretty well.
