The T4 thermostat is similar, but it's a higher temperature (85-90degC) 
unit
than the T1/T3 t-stat (65-70degC) .. so it probably wouldn't be good to 
use
on a T3 engine.    Pick 'em up if you find 'em cheap -- the T4 
thermostat has
been NLA for years, good used ones are going for $30-40 these days.
