It looks like 311 927 148 must be the whole nylon "box" with the brass contact and the spring, but I've never replaced this part. I don't know if it is still available from VW but it doesn't cost you anything to call and find out. Question for Russ: It always seemed to me that the nylon contact carrier was pretty well stuck in there. Is there a simple way to get it out and back in? -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
