That's a good point, but if a small hose would do, then you could drill and tap the heads in the normal spot for a small hose barb. The metal there is probably too thin for a 1/2 tube, but I'll bet a 1/4" nipple could be made to work okay. I wonder if you can get a 1/4" hose barb with 1/8" NPT threads? I'll bet you can. If you decide to do this, get a brass fitting, not steel. The brass is a much better match to the thermal expansion rate of the alum head. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
