That's a good point, but if a small hose would do, then you could drill and tap 
the heads in the normal spot for a small hose barb. The metal there is probably 
too thin for a 1/2 tube, but I'll bet a 1/4" nipple could be made to work okay. 
I wonder if you can get a 1/4" hose barb with 1/8" NPT threads? I'll bet you 
can.

If you decide to do this, get a brass fitting, not steel. The brass is a much 
better match to the thermal expansion rate of the alum head.
