They would work for a type3, but you still have to modify the part that would clamp to the lower beam, and add about 18" to the length of the tow bar to get it out from under the type3. This would work if you had one that you weren't using any more, because the modifications needed wouldn't allow you to use it again on a super :P, compared to the other version that uses a t-1 tow bar (that you can still use to tow a t-1).
