Re: [T3] Vapor Lock?

<x-flowed>>west side of Manhattan. When finished the car didn't start. This is >the

minutes it started right up. The only idea I have left is vapor lock.

What a co-inky-dinky I was just getting ready to post the same thing. My wife just called me and said that the car would not start. Its hot here right now, she had been sitting for about 15 mins, the car would not start. I told her to hang out for another 15, after that time had passed the car started fine. This is the second time this has happened.

I have recently read somewhere that vapor lock can happen due to a faulty pressure regulator. The regulator doesnt hold the pressure in the lines, all the fuel drains out of the lines in the engine, and...bam your vapor locked.

Can a faulty pressure regulator cause this? What else can cause this? A friend of mine had an FI square a while back and said that this kind of thing happened all the time to her.
