<x-charset iso-8859-1>VW part # 361 698 301 is the kit for Squareback rear brake cyl from chassis 221,975 (Aug '63) to 365 220 883 (July '65, end of 1965 model year) with 23.8mm (15/16") diameter. After that you want kit 113 698 293 (a Beetle part number so should be easily available) diameter 22.2mm (7/8"). Notch, Fastback and Type 34 use the 22.2 all years on the rear (it says here!). The older Squares need 25.4mm (1" of course). Dave.
