<x-flowed>On another vehicle email list, some one suggested using a new hand pumped oil can filled with brake fluid and connecting it to the bleed port, and pumping fluid in backwards from the usual bleed direction.
This would obviously add fluid to the reservoir and require draining of it before it spilled over, but otherwise is there a downside of doing this?
Interesting idea, but not sure of the practicality.
I just loop the bleed line up and over the tire to put fluid against the bleed valve and this assures that no bubbles get sucked back into the wheel cylinder. Works like a charm even with one-person bleeding and no one working the bleed valve open and closed.

Power bleeders are great. I wish I could afford one.
The one I use is actually quite affordable. It cost me under $100 with all the various adapters I need.
