Just to add that you may need to adjust the clearances to make it work OK.
Sometimes I've made a slightly thicker gasket to allow it to work, but you may
be able to carefully bend something internally.  Some horns can be adjusted with
a screw, others cannot, or are resined in and hard to get to.  If the contact is
only just making, a slight movement breaks it and you get lots of weak
vibrations - high-pitched and feeble.  It may take a bit of trial and error, but
getting dead things working again is therapeutic and good for the planet!

I've separated rivetted ones and used bolts or new rivets instead.
