I think it's more likely that in the process of playing with the buzzer, you bumped something else, or the something else temporarily "fixed" itself. A short, or leak, like you're thinking of can certainly drain your battery, but that won't keep the charging light from going on. When the charging light is on, this is a signal that there is no charging happening, not that the charging is incomplete. Thus there is no way for the battery to get replenished while the light is on. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
