<x-flowed>This makes much more sense than what I've seen. This motor was in my Sqbk when I bought it in '78, and it ran too fast and I replaced it with what is in there now, which I haven't been able to get to run. Even though it's got '67 Fastback painted on it, I have always suspected it to be 6v one.
I know I need to get the car fully inspected to get it licensed again, so I need a functional wiper.
I'll hook it up per your report and see what happens.
Thanks!
Jeff '67 Sqbk
My Henry Elfrink book has a schematic for a '66 ("1600") with three wires from the wiper moter: Black (53a, 1,5 mm), Green (53, 1,5 mm) and Black/Yel (53b, 1,0 mm). They go to the three coresponding connections on the wiper switch. Wiper motor ground is through the housing to chassis. The text describes the ability to regulate wiper speed by "an upper knurled disc on the push button panel (or turning the knob on later models)" . . . ?
