Were those LH? If so, what change did the H indicate?

I saw those, but didn't know what they were, so I omitted them.

I should also have added that in '74, the Type 4 (1.8L for that year only) AND 
the 1.8L 914 BOTH introduced the L-Jet. They both used the same engine. (Well, 
they were almost the same....)
