That looks just like the photo in my Bosch FI manual, except yours is better and in color. ;-) Why is there a rather large squareish hole in the center of the pad on top of your engine cover? That photo also shows the cooling air intake louvers and reminds me that I still don't understand why VW didn't use the same fenders, ducts, and louvers that were already designed for the square. Question for John J: Is it possible that the notch profile might change the airflow around the rear quarter panels and make louvers there ineffective? -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
