That was also the last year for the > D-Jet Porsche 914 2.0L. I wrote that from a slowly fading memory, so checking later revealed that the 76 912E, was actually L-Jet. In addition, while some of my sources mention a 76 914, most don't, so there must not have been much production that year and '75 was the last full year of production. The 2L 914s WERE D-Jet up to the end, however. I believe they were the last of the D-Jet line, at least in europe and north America. Sooo... with a little digging: First D-Jet: '68 VW Type 3 Last D-Jet: '75-6 Porsche 914 2.0L First L-Jet: '74 VW Type 4 Last L-Jet: '84 (lots of cars) First K-Jet: '73 Porsche 911T I didn't do a thorough search, so this list may still have errors. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
