I wrote that from a slowly fading memory, so checking later revealed 
that the 76 912E, was actually L-Jet. In addition, while some of my 
sources mention a 76 914, most don't, so there must not have been 
much production that year and '75 was the last full year of 
production. The 2L 914s WERE D-Jet up to the end, however. I believe 
they were the last of the D-Jet line, at least in europe and north 
America.

Sooo... with a little digging:

First D-Jet: '68 VW Type 3
Last D-Jet: '75-6 Porsche 914 2.0L

First L-Jet: '74 VW Type 4
Last L-Jet: '84 (lots of cars)

First K-Jet: '73 Porsche 911T

I didn't do a thorough search, so this list may still have errors.
