The last D- Jet car that I knew of was something like the 76 Porsche 912, which was a bit of an orphan since it was a one year only 912 with a type 4 engine and D-Jet FI. That was also the last year for the D-Jet Porsche 914 2.0L. I've also seen a Toyota of about the same year, in Japan, which had D-Jet. In that case most of the parts were made by Nippon Denso, but the injectors were genuine Bosch. I think it's possible that you came across some misinformation about the Cadillacs. Those kinds of mistakes certainly happen. I got all excited awhile ago when Road & Track came out with a nice article on the soon-to-be-released Toyota MR-2. The article clearly stated that it would be coming with Bosch D- Jet FI. Imagine my disappointment when they arrived at the dealer and I got to look at one. They were L-Jet. The Road & Track article was completely wrong. The only 8 cyl D-Jet cars that I know of were a few Mercedes models, and yes, they had quad trigger points. That's why the late Bosch D-Jet test boxes have test positions for 4 points. I've only ever worked on one of those, and it was a black market 280 SE (or CE) from 70 or 71.
