I've done it a few times and Russ' page details the way to go. There is apparently a bit of a difference in window size from the early to late windshields, however. I never have been able to get the window in my 63 to seat just so and a longstanding local glass guy told me that the seal is too large for it and the glass to fit in properly. According to him later windows are a bit smaller. He said he can sometimes successfully shave the glass a bit so it fits in better. He also said that sealant shouldn't be necessary and I've heard this sentiment echoed by other people. And crank the heat in your shop! If you aren't sweating and your hands aren't sore and red from slapping the window you aren't doing it right! Andre > Greetings > > We are about to install the front and rear windows on the Notch.
