RE: type3-d Digest V2005 #654

The charging system on my car is all new, generator and regulator. I can
run everything else all at the same time and the light won't come on. I
can run the wiper motor alone and the light comes on. I have checked the
connections already. I even bypassed the switch to try and rule it out.
It still went real slow.

I would first check if your charging system is functioning properly
before assuming a bad wiper motor. Low voltage to begin with would make
a motor run slow, and make a borderline system start warning when placed
under load. Ask Jim Adney for his charging system FAQ. I would also rule
out poor connections at the switch and motor.
