BTW, what goes under the little clip that's screwed into the other hole, a fuel line? I have exactly the same clip on the bottom of my carb-linkage bell-crank, but it always seems that I would be bending the fuel line too sharply if I were to take it straight out of the fuel pump and clamp it under there.


Yes, the fuel line runs from the left injectors, under that clamp and across the top of the engine to the right injectors. There's a piece of vinyl tubing that slides over the braided fuel line to protect it from breakdown by rubbing from engine vibration. You can see the normal ducting of the fuel line here... I don't have a pic of exactly that, but this gives you a better idea:

It does seem to bend rather sharply to get there, but no where near as tightly as I have it bent in the front end under the fuel tank near the fuel pump.
