That's the SP wire guide for the left side of the engine. It bolts to the top of the left shroud with an M6 bolt and leans rearward, just in front of the generator. The top crossbar runs left and right and is horizontal. The # 3 & 4 SP wires clip into the twin holders and the coil wire fits in the single holder. The twin clips are the same as the one that you are missing for the right side. You might be able to find one of these from a beetle, as they were also used there. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
