Re: [T3] Today's work

<x-flowed>Not a success, I'm afraid.

I couldn't get it to fit the way you describe, depending on what hole I put it in, it is either blocked by the generator or the carb.

It did fit leaning forwards, and the wires fit into it, but they were a bit tight, and looked odd. To top it all, the damn thing nicked the insulation of one of the wires slightly when I put it in or took it out. I think it's OK, as it's not very deep.

Could this be an FI only part? Even better, does anyone have a picture of the way it's supposed to fit?

Daniel

That's the SP wire guide for the left side of the engine. It bolts to the top
of the left shroud with an M6 bolt and leans rearward, just in front of the
generator. The top crossbar runs left and right and is horizontal. The # 3 & 4
SP wires clip into the twin holders and the coil wire fits in the single
holder.

The twin clips are the same as the one that you are missing for the right side.
You might be able to find one of these from a beetle, as they were also used
there.
