My engine has the 'carb' tin pieces, top and bottom. I had thought only the
FI system had that tin so I thought my pieces were FI parts...now I know they
are actually carb tins :-)

Do they work? Hard to say but I have a COMPLETE stock cooling system on my
2.0L, along with a proper exhaust and oil pre-cooler and then engine temps
feel normal. I firmly believe every little bit helps to keep the air within
the engine and running at operating temp.
