Re: [T3] not pumping fuel

<x-flowed>Well,
It is now pumping fuel. It seems that the pump just wasn't getting primed. My new problem is that it seems to be pumping too much fuel. The left carb (kadron) is leaking around tthe float. The guys at lowbudget.com where I bought the ccarb says that the problem is most likely too much fuel pressure. He said it is overcoming the float valve. According to him, Kadrons need about 1.5psi, while many stock pumps are about 4psi. Any other darksiders here have any experience with this? The guy told me to check my fuel pressure. I will have to figurre out what kind of guage to get.

Aside from the leaking carb, the engine actually runs. I ran it for a few minutes at a time. I did not want to let too much fuel leak everywhere, so I shut-r-down until the excess evaporated away, and the engine cooled a bit. With the left carb float leaking, the left side is running rich.

If I can get the fuel/carb leak unser control, I should be able to do my 30 minute 1800RPM break in, and then some fine tuning.

Thanks
Brad Mularcik
