I know this thing interfaced with a connector block in the engine bay and took readings on, uh, stuff. Was items like cylinder compression, alignment, dwell punched in manually into the system, or were the devices that measured this stuff interfaced with this system somehow?
The compression was done dynamically while the engine was cranking. The bay that this was done in was actually front end alignment rack. Dwell was actual, as there was a wire in the plug that went to the coil.
