You would be surprised how big the unit was did that diagnostic's. The
video display cabinet was about 24" x 48" x 24" deep. It was hung on an

The dealer had to put in a special hoist and bay just for this. And it
only lasted for about 3 years.



Yeah, after looking at the printouts, it seems like the bulk of what it does from an electronic standpoint could be replicated with a multimeter. This thing had to be a big investment for the dealership, and to have it last only 3 years... ugh.

I know this thing interfaced with a connector block in the engine bay and took readings on, uh, stuff. Was items like cylinder compression, alignment, dwell punched in manually into the system, or were the devices that measured this stuff interfaced with this system somehow?
