I don't *think* there's anything of that sort going on..  I did have everything
disconnected there when I changed tanks over a few years ago. I don't seem to recall
anything of that sort [and I did peer down as much as possible in selecting which of the
parts looked best].

Since it's on my mind, I'll probably fix my breather hose with something on the side of
correct. Once I get started, I may as well inspect everything I can inside and out.

I'll let you all know if something looks out of the ordinary [or if things are appearing
ordinary while the problem persists]
