[T3] Type three and Type 4 ECU's

Is it possible to swap the type three ECU for a type four unit?  Is the 
wiring and large connector the same?

Reason for asking is that I've got a mild dark side project on the go and 
would like the bonus of the idle adjustment pot on the type four unit, plus 
I could do with a slightly richer mixture (I've cranked fuel pressure up to 
max and still need more).  I figure a 1.7Type four d-jet ECU and MPS may 
help me out some.
