Isn't it possible to just put a pot. Between the ECU and the sensor on the
original ECU? Also you could put a resistor in that location once a value is
determined. I remember reading somewhere that someone used a 278 ohm
resistor to get more fuel. I was looking for the document but have not been
able to find it. Seems to me it would be easier to modify what you have VS
changing everything over. Just a thought. I also have not tried this yet.

I've read somewhere about fiddling with resistors and the head temp sensor to give more fuel. I figured though that if the brains are a straight swap, I might as well try that first. That way things are pretty much stock d-jet. I'll probably have to tweak the MPS a little. I've read P Anders D-Jet website (http://members.rennlist.com/pbanders/manifold_pressure_sensor.htm - for those that haven't), so at worst I can follow his excellent guidelines with the MPS.
