The main one is located just to the left of the pump. If the case has 2, the second it in the left half of the case, near the lower engine mounting stud. Did you just put this pump in?? Do you have the right pump for the case and the cam gear??? The wrong pump, case, cam combo can cause this problem. Your pump gears may not be engaging the camshaft. -- Russ Wolfe '71 FB AT '66 FB MT '64 T34 (not running) '65 T1 (not running) '05 KIA Sorento SUV russw@classicvw.org http://www.classicvw.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
