IIRC, there is a test of the F.I. that > involves working the throttle by hand with the key on and listening for > the injectors to click. I did this and my injectors aren't clicking. Start at the beginning and let us know how far you get. Turn the key ON. You should hear a relay click and then another click ~1 second later. This indicates that the brain is at least partially alive and that it is getting power. Between the 2 clicks you should hear the pump running. With the key ON, depress the throttle from the engine compartment. You should hear some clicking of the injectors. This indicates that additional functions are working. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
