Howdy All.
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I spent the afternoon trying to
get my '73 square parts car to run before pulling the engine. My fuel pump
relay and pump both function. I can get the car to run briefly on carb
cleaner sprayed down the intake, but it won't run on its own. IIRC, there is
a test of the F.I. that involves working the throttle by hand with the key
on and listening for the injectors to click. I did this and my injectors
aren't clicking. I don't recall what this tests for , or the fix. I had both
the '70 and '73 in the driveway moving vehicles around this afternoon, and
took a few pics. I know that lots of listees have many more vw's, but it's
kinda cool to have a driveway full of vw's of my very own:) I'll try to get
some pics up on the Samba this PM.
