I also hear a relay click under the rear seat. > Between the 2 clicks you should hear the pump running. Yes > With the key ON, depress the throttle from the engine compartment. How loud would the clicking be? The engine is coming out of the '73 to go in the '70. My main goal is to get the engine running to try to detect any mechanical problems it might have so I can fix it before I install it in the other car, but it would also be nice to be able to say that the '73 F.I. is functional if I wanted to try to sell it later on down the road, as the '73 system is coming off of the engine and being replaced by the '70 system to match the car. Thanks for the help so far, I'm going outside to get dirty again : ) Terry Cost '70 and '73 Squares Austin, TX Ya'll ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
