Welcome to the list! RichS=> The first thing we are doing, ... is to swap the => fuel injection for dual carbs (34 ICT). Why? This is a lot of work for less performance. If there's something not right with your fuel system, stick with the list a little longer and you'll find out that fixing your FI is much easier and your car will be happier. I'm a carb guy, by the way. There are also a lot of symtoms that only seem like a fuel problem. => We also have a low pressure fuel pump (stand and rod), => 009 dist, bosch blue coil, Bosch wires, bosch plugs. => Is there anything else I need to replace to complete the swap? If you must do this, keep your FI distributor and coil, get rid of the Webers, the 009 and the blue coil, and if you have original plug wires save them too or send them to me. If you've bought a Type 1 fuel pump, start looking for a Type 3 pump on the used market. OEM parts rule! To switch the fuel system to a stock arrangement you will need the carbs (32 PDSIT), choke heaters, pilot jets, throttle plates, phenolic insulators, insulator gaskets, intake manifolds, manifold gaskets, 4 linkage rods, center bellcrank and stand, new accelerator cable, balance pipe, air cleaner assembly, fuel hose, fuel hose tee, some small hose clamps, new fuel filter, balance pipe hose, preheat hose, crankcase breather hose and some plugs for the fuel return system. You'll also need a carb balance tool and adapter, the Haynes manual at least, and some patience for learning about balancing. If you decide to stay with the Webers, I can't help, you're in experimental territory. Others here will chime in.
