Re: [T3] BOGE shocks


If the front and rear shocks needed to perform identically, why wouldn't VW fit
the same ones all round?
The amount and rate of damping is vital to proper functioning of the suspension.
At worst, the wrong matching of components may lead to excessive tyre wear and
handling difficulties in extreme conditions.  Mind you, we don't usually choose
to drive our Type 3s in that manner, do we?
I can understand using an alternative (wrong) part just to keep the car on the
road, but make sure it can!

Now let me see, I've a 470pF capacitor here, I wonder if I can use it to replace
the blown 470mF one on this power supply - it's pretty much the same number
after all, only one letter different.   ;-)
