It could also be a mixture problem with the right carb.... If that side was 
running hotter this might be the result.

Remember, the thing that really counts is flow, not pressure, although pressure 
is a rough indicator of flow. Due to reduced restriction, a late case will show 
less pressure than an early case at the same temp and flow.

Years of experience with full flow using Fram filters. Any engines I've ever 
had to tear down showed no lubrication problems. Most never got torn down 
again. All went over !00k before the bodies rusted out or the engine just got 
retired.
