Thaks for the tips, Jim. I have started the spraying process. I'll let it soak for a few days and we'll see what happens. I have verified that the inner track is loose, it is only the outer track that is stuck. I have also tried to use a hammer and a brick of wood, and dented the frame, as you said. That did not help, so I stopped hammering right away.

I want to get the seat out so I can clean and lubricate the tracks, and also try to slow down the rust process with some Corroless paint. The pans on this 70 seems to be pretty good, despite the rusted body. I already have the right side seat out.
