When you turn the key on, you should hear 2 clicks, about 1-2 seconds apart. During that time the pump should run. If you don't hear those clicks, then you are probably not getting power to the FI control unit. There is a FI power relay under the back seat next to the voltage regulator. There should be a red wire going from the battery to this relay. Sometimes it is corroded off at the battery. Check this and let us know what you find. -- Russ Wolfe '66 FB MT '71 FB AT '65 Bug (not running) russw@classicvw.org http://www.classicvw.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
