Hello- Remember - canisters are swappable. You can mix and match canisters with different distributors. OPTION 1: Get a dual carb T3 canister. Use it on the later, appropriate FI distributor. Because this engine is also dual carbed, it should give you a good signal. Or... OPTION 2: Get a 36hp distributor and use the vacuum advance canister from it. With _very_ slight modification, it will fit on a later dual-advance distributor appropriate for your year of vehicle. Why a 36hp canister? They are adjustable! :-) You can adjust the total advance, the pressure preload, and, if needed, the stiffness of the spring itself (often not needed).
