Re: [T3] T3 cooling


Thanks for the reply.
I THOUGHT I had it running right.Religiosly followed any advice I got
from this list and it's assoc. webpages.
Stock(completely) FI
Cleaned everything.Straightened and painted all tin.
Fuel pressure at 28psi.Timing at proper place on flywheel.
Working thermostat and flaps.Deflectors in place.Heater boxes repaired
and tightened all loose hardware(proper torque).Replaced all fuel lines.
New fuel pump.Replaced exhaust nuts with new nuts w/integral lock washers.
Distibutor disassembled,checked and put back together correctly.Fixed
harness and
tidyed it up.Bentley read from cover to cover.Rewired starter and voltage
regulator.New battery.
New TPS.New pressure sensor.New tires.New reconditioned heads,springs and
exhaust valves.
New throwout bearing.New intake accordian.New headlights and wiring.New fuel
filter and strainer.
New generator brushes.New speedo.Fixed clock.Por-15 on some questionable
areas.Discovered fiberglas
front fenders!(Damn!)

Everthing BUT the oil cooler.(Damn again)

5 or 6 mile run at 85.Toasted #3 piston.New unauthorised port created.
Plastic locknut insert laying i valve cover.melted
