their first VW in 1964, and both bought their first Type 3 in 1968. 
Spooky, huh?

Personally, I was dirven home from the nursery, as a newborn, in my 
parents 1964 type 35 (panel converted to wagon). They gave it away in 
1976, it was very rusted then. I bought my first VW, a '69 type 1, in 
1992, it was a complete rustbucket so I parted it out to make some money 
off it. Then I bought a 68 type 1 in 1994 (I still have it) and my first 
and, so far, only type 3 in the spring of 1995. Now I also have a 64 Bug 
that I bought in the summer of '02.
