[T3] Inspections (was: Re: [T3] Crunchy steering?)


<x-flowed>in germany both inspections and insurance are compulsory. what a surprise, isn't it? ;) there's not just a technical inspection but also a n emissions inspection every year.

the worst thing that can happen to an old-car owner/restorer is when they let registration lapse for over a year, maybe because the car is all taken apart in some garage. if you want to re-register it after that point you have to go through this special technical inspection that is much more expensive and rigorous than the standard inspection.

Me too! Here they have to check all sorts of weird things, also they charge
about $40 for the check.
