The air flow there is not as you would think. John Jaransen (automotive
aerodynamics engineer) went through all the numbers and figured it out.
If you have not noticed, early T-3's had the louvers pointing one
direction, and the later ones have them going the other. Most of the air
flow through the louvers is caused by the fan.
