        Instead of using a welded crank, CB Performance will have a new 
forged counterweighted crankshaft that is produced from a single 
forging.  After doing some investigation I have found out that they will be 
available in November and will cost ~$199.00, which is just a little more 
than a good welded counterweighted crankshaft.  When I build up my motor 
for my notch I plan on using one of these new crankshafts.

'65 Notchback with a Britax sliding rag top. Plans for a 1600cc motor using 
an AS21 case, with a Resto-Custom flavor. Preps underway for installing 
some NOS rocker panels, lifting the body from the pan for a pan restoration 
and welding in some IRS trailing arm mounts onto a swingaxle rear suspension.
