I think they were basically all the same up thru 70. 

Power goes from the fuee box to the horn.

The ground wire returns from the horn and connects via an insulated bearing 
to the steering column shaft, which is electrically floating.

The horn ring is has a ground wire which runs down the hollow steering shaft 
and jumps over the insulated flex coupling, attaching to one of the bolts on 
the steering gear side of the flex coupling.

There is a short ground wire from the top of steering box to the frame

Pushing the horn ring completes the ground circuit by shorting between the 
grounded horn ring and the previously floating steering shaft.
