<x-charset iso-8859-1>Well, thanks to a chance meeting at a Friday night car show the other night, I have found a auto body shop in town that's willing (or foolish enough) to take on the Notch. I just got off the phone with the owner and he actually sounded interested to do the work (heater channels, change out the doors, parcel tray and C pillar rust, etc.), which in my experience is usually a good thing. I'd like to think that they're interested in keeping another VW on the road and out of the grips of the car crusher and not in creatively seperating me from my $$, which I had done to me before. That guy went from "fixing" a '69 Beetle of mine to doing time in prison for drug trafficking so caveat emptor...AAR, if this guy turns out to be the real deal, and the business does seem to have a good rep on the internet sites that have plugged them as well as the guy that told me about them in the first place, then I'll have lots of good things to say in a few weeks (hopefully), and my Notch'll soon be roadworthy again. I have to clean her up, gather all the bits and pieces and throw them in and tow her down South early next week. Until then, here's hoping for the best.
