<<If the ATF level is good, then the only thing left, that is easy to get to, is the vacuum modulator. This needs to be >adjusted any time it is replaced.. Instructions are in the Lubrication & Maintenance chapter of the Bentley. You can just do this by where the shift points are; does it seem to shift at too high or too low a speed? If so, you can move the shift points up or down with this adjustment. You'll have to work slowly, as the shift points depend also on how much throttle you give the engine (that's what the VM does.) >>>>> One thing to mention, I do have a small leak (drip) near the pan gasket, but I check the ATF level quite frequently not everytime I take it out but almost. And I check it in N running. It seems to be most pronounced at slower speeds. If I am getting onto the highway or the like it is fairly smooth. Only in slow stop and go neighborhood traffic does it kick me. I will try replacing the Vacuum ahh "Modulator" that's what its called, when I replace the pan gasket. Thanks Jim.
