I would think that you would have to put the Propane thru a regulator set to a much lower pressure than the gasoline regulator is set for, just because the viscosity of the Propane gas will be less than the liquid gasoline. This also give you the opportunity to adjust the Propane richness independent of the gasoline. This should just take a switchover valve and a second pressure regulator, which shouldn't be too big a deal. You may need to shut off the gasoline overflow line also. > Of cource if I carb the car thinks will be easy but there arnt too many FI cars > in the UK and I would like to keep mine as an original example. I would think that trying to run a carb on propane wouldn't be possible. The float valve won't ever close, so there would be no control of richness, plus lots of propane spilling out the float bowl vent. - ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ------------------------------------------------------------------- Too much?
