<x-flowed> Hi all I am doing some investigation into running my Fastback on LPG Gas(Propane and Butane Mix) - in the UK Petrol is so expensive (about 5 dollers per gallon)and LPGas has good tax breaks... One issue is that LPG is higher Octane than Petrol - it is 112 where as the unleaded fuel we have is 95. To get the most out of the fuel I would expect to advance the ignition. I have a 72 FI car - so the dizzy has 5 dgree advance at idle that then grows with rev's. What I am concerned with is 1 Will the Brain have a problem with this - will the injectors still operate in sync with the ignition 2 The car will be duel fuel - should I expect to have a gas regulater to keep the fuel at 30 PSI or should I still pass gas through the presurising Fuel Pump. Or should I plan a second delivery circuit with a cut off valve between them. Anyone gone through this exercise and can offer help. Of cource if I carb the car thinks will be easy but there arnt too many FI cars in the UK and I would like to keep mine as an original example. Many thanks James _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com ------------------------------------------------------------------- Too much?
