<x-charset ISO-8859-1>I started this thread a week or so ago when I found 3 out of 4 of my ball joint boots on my Square had popped off.  Upon closer inspection, the boots were actually split, not popped off. 8^(

The ball joints felt good still with no play.  I had four good boots on the old front end from my '71 Fasty.  I removed them and used them on the Square.  The procedure was straight forward, just as the Bentley manual described.  I will be adding grease fittings to my ball joints since they have the small plastic plugs in them now.

I also noticed that the tie rod boots are shot.  I will be replacing them next.
