The case I bought a few years ago is the one known as a "universal case" and is of
the 2nd type Jim describes below. Made in Brazil, this case has the mountings for
the type 3 oil filler tube, the type 1 oil disptick tube and crossbar mountings for
type 2 & 3 applications. AFAICR, it did not have holes for access to the AT drive
plate.
