The 31PICT is a carb for a 13-1500 Type 1&2 engine. If your car is a
twin-port 1600, it will suffer from a severe lack of power (should have a
34PICT) as well as the overheating problems described by Jim.

Who is this mystery person that keeps putting upright engines in Type3s
anyway? Can't they handle the idea of a car with a boot (trunk) in the back
as well as the front?!    ;-p
